Yamashima shihan is an engaging and experienced teacher, and well worth training with whatever your level.The facilities at the training village are excellent. The club's instructor is Rob Hill Sensei, a 5th Dan black belt accredited by the Hombu dojo, traditional Aikido's global headquarters. Rob, who has practised aikido since the 60s, founded the club under the technical direction of the late Sugano Seiichi, an 8th Dan Shihan (Senior Instructor) and himself former direct student of the founder of aikido, Morihei Ueshiba.
